Senior Structural Engineer

Senior Structural Engineers at Arrow Engineering are the backbone of Arrow’s success and serve as both primary designers as well as managers of junior and project level staff.  The mission of Arrow is to empower its senior staff to be the best engineers that they can be.  The ideal candidate is someone with experience serving as the Engineer of Record on several types of projects and who is comfortable making project related decisions independently.  Arrow equips its senior level staff to be leaders in the structural engineering field.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years post licensure in structural design or related fields
  • Professional Engineer (PE).  Ideally also a Structural Engineer (SE)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing a team of engineers and running projects.
  • Familiar with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge in structural analysis programs such as Risa, RAM, and Enercalc.

Structural Project Engineer

Structural Project Engineers at Arrow Engineering are engaged throughout the design and construction phases of projects in key roles such as performing structural calculations, drafting and design, analysis, evaluation, and supervision of construction activities.  Working under the supervision of Arrow’s senior level engineers, Project Engineers have a balance of field and office time; often responsible for documenting existing conditions, monitoring progress on projects, or coordinating with others on the design team.  The day-to-day schedule of a Project Engineer can greatly vary and no one day is the same as the last.  Never relegated to just menial tasks, a Project Engineer at Arrow is integral in important roles necessary to the success of each project in which they are involved.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in structural design or related fields
  • Graduate of 4 year / ABET Accredited Civil Engineering Program. Preferably with concentration in Structural Engineering.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge in structural analysis programs such as Risa, RAM, and Enercalc.
